This is a next-generation model that inherits the functionality and concept of the floating sprocket hub cultivated through previous “TAKUMI” products, while incorporating new ideas.
By increasing the number of tooth-drive engagement points from 6 to 15, durability and operational precision have been improved. In addition, a retainer-ring sprocket locking system has been adopted. By eliminating the use of bolts entirely, weight has been significantly reduced. Compatible with standard magnesium counterparts, lighter than other floating carrier in the market, and attachment/removal has been simplified, resulting in shorter working time on kart on a busy race day.
Features:
- Reduced friction through a floating structure
- Lightweight design and improved work efficiency through bolt-less construction
- High durability and precise operation via 15-tooth drive engagement
This Product can only be used with the dedicated sprocket series “Triple K Sprocket -AKIRA”.
However, by installing the separately sold “Floating Sprocket Hub ‘Akira’ Conversion Ring other general sprockets may also be used.
Please note carriers come with 8mm keyway widths (Seniors & OTK cadets). For cadet chassis with 6mm keyways, need to use 6mm-8mm conversion keyway (not included)
